Caring Ministries

The Caring Ministry Committee of AUMC is alive and well. We visit those who are housebound or suffering from and illness or injury.  We could use the help of the congregation to be even more active. There is a place for you!

The Committee meets once a month and holds an over-80 Birthday Luncheon every other month, at the McKinleyville Denny's. This lunch honors those over eighty but is open to all; it's a wonderful time to get to know one another. Do try to attend. Watch for Birthday Luncheon announcements and call your reservations into the office.

It is helpful if you know of anyone in need or are doing some calling yourself to let the office or Rev. Kate know. In this way we can be sure our members and friends are kept in our prayers and visited or called.

Health Ministries

Blood Pressure Clinic

A blood pressure clinic is held on the first Sunday of each month at 12:15 pm. in the Fireside Room.

Bells of the Redwoods

The Bells of the Redwoods is a hand bell choir that provides music at the Traditional Worship service, usually once a month.  The Bells of the Redwoods practice is at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings. Doug Hendricks is the Director.
